Thanks to a new grant, local Illinois-based small manufacturers can schedule Black Hawk College safety trainings at their facilities at a reduced rate.
The Business Training Center at Black Hawk College recently received workforce training grant funds to offset the cost of safety training for local Illinois-based small manufacturers.
The grant will pay for up to 50% of safety trainings while funds last. The availability of these funds is limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The grant cycle ends March 31, 2025.
Training topics include but are not limited to:
- Safety Audits
- 10-Hour General Industry
- 30-Hour OSHA
- First Aid/CPR
- Fall Protection
- Hazwoper and Hazwoper Refresher
- Fork Truck
- Confined Space
